The Hillingdon Winter Night Shelter

Trinity are proud to be hosting the Hillingdon Winter Night Shelter in January and February 2012.

The night shelter has many functions. It will provide warmth, food and good nights of sleep for up to 8 people in the community who would otherwise be sleeping rough in the coldest months of the year. It has also been shown that a winter night shelter is very often the key to opening up the potential to access services that will provide safe and sustainable accommodation and support.

Trinity has always been about transformation of lives, and we see the Hillingdon Winter Night Shelter providing not just short term relief, but also long term opportunities to see the quality of life improving for those suffering the effects of homelessness.

The Hillingdon Winter Night Shelter is reliant on the support of volunteers. If you would like to help out by serving at the Night Shelter, you can do so in 3 ways:

1. Serving Food.

2. Evening support

3. Overnight.

Details of all of these roles, as well as the location of the night shelter are to be found in the Night Shelter Guide Book - available soon.

We will be running two briefing sessions for all volunteers on Jan 9th at 5.45pm and again at 7.45pm. Details to follow.

For further details, or to register yourself as a volunteer, please email Annette here, or call her on 020 8797 9500.

Thank you for your support.
